BRITAIN has retaliated to Vladimir Putin’s aggression by sending a fierce warship into Russia’s backyard.
Earlier this month the HMS Severn left fishery patrol to track the Russian Koole which was capable of carrying 24 are vehicles and 170 troops.
The Royal Navy said HMS Daring has been protecting merchant shipping in the Middle East and will now moving towards the Black Sea before heading home later this year.
The decision to send a ship into Russian waters follows the deployment of four RAF Typhoon planes which set off to patrol eastern Europe today.
Admiral Vladimir Korolev reportedly said: ”The [Russian Navy] has everything to control the situation in any region of the global ocean.”
The Black Sea is home to the Crimean peninsula – which was recently taken by force from Ukraine.
“BRITAIN has retaliated to Vladimir Putin’s aggression by sending a fierce warship into Russia’s backyard.”
Seriously? A Fierce Warship? Could we not have sent a passive aggressive one?
