Theresa May was heckled with shouts of “shame on you” and boos as she visited Liverpool.
The Prime Minister was jeered as she walked through the city for its official Armed Forces Day parade this afternoon.
Dozens of people could be heard shouting angrily at her, but she continued to make her way through the crowds with a smile on her face.
Some supporters, however, cheered and clapped as she got into a car flanked by police.
Mrs May was among the top brass standing in front of the HMS Iron Duke to watch the parade of service personnel, bands, veterans and cadets go past.
Thousands of people turned out for the event, including Mayor Joe Anderson, which saw the Red Arrows fly over the city and cannons fired by the Mersey.
Scott Merrit, 24, from Huyton, told the Liverpool Echo: “It was just a joke. I don’t like her, full stop.
